What to Expect at Your Makeup Trial

A makeup trial is a great opportunity to explore your bridal look and ensure you feel confident on your big day. Here’s everything you need to know about my makeup trials:

1. Makeup Only, No Hair Trials

Please note, I offer makeup trials only, and do not provide hair trials.

2. Priority Booking for Brides Who Secure Their Date First

To ensure I can focus on brides who are ready to move forward, makeup trials are offered only to brides who have already booked me for their primary bridal makeup. This allows me to prioritize brides who have done their research, are excited to work with me, and are ready to secure their wedding day look. It also helps avoid any disappointment for brides who may take too long to book, and potentially lose their preferred date in the process.

3. The Trial is About Finding Your Perfect Look

Your makeup trial is a relaxed, no-pressure session where we’ll explore what look suits you best. We’ll discuss the style you're envisioning for your wedding day, and I’ll work with you to create a look that enhances your natural beauty. During the trial, I'll also assess your skin’s needs and can suggest any skincare adjustments you might need to help prepare your skin for your big day.

4. Optional and Additional Cost

Makeup trials are optional. Please note that trials are offered for an additional cost beyond the wedding day makeup package. It's a valuable investment to ensure we create a perfect look and make adjustments if necessary. 95% of my brides book me without a trial, and I believe that a trial is not always necessary. Unless you have specific concerns, you can confidently book me for your wedding day. On the day of your wedding, I conduct a brief consultation where I ask the same questions I would during a trial. This session helps me understand your vision and ensures that I create the perfect look for you.

5. Take Your Look for a Test Run

Once your makeup is completed, you have the option to leave with the look and test its longevity. Wear it for the rest of the day to see how it holds up, or use it for a special date or photoshoot. This way, you can feel confident that your makeup will last and look stunning on your wedding day.
